Keep waiting foe the 8% increase that LA got where they are teaching 30 students in their classes, contributing to their health coverage while still having to pay a premium and copays, and since the information from Nick and his pals is not that forthcoming, a layoff in LA means that you are on the unemployment line because their due process is different. Creating panic by spreading propaganda and misinformation is never a good thing, however many people thrive on that!

As for the strike in LA that so many like to point to, the teachers only went on strike to support School District Workers like school bus drivers, kitchen staff and teacher's aides. What they got in return is a maximum salary of $122K, 204 days of working and an 8 hr 30 mins school day. All that is facts, not misinformation!

The savings from forcing retirees into Medicare Advantage will go to the Health Stabilization Fund controlled by the UFT and DC 37.

That is the reason for the rush to ratify.

If there is concern over the ratification vote, the AFT and the US D of Labor should be notified and the vote count should be suspended until that time that all concerns have been rectified.

Opposition parties should file a complaint as soon as it is deemed a problem
