Massive turnover, uncertified teachers, dubious pedagogy, “counseling out” students from the school who are behavior problems, verbal abuse of students - there’s a lot that former charter teachers who are now UFT members working at public DOE schools can shine a light on for all to see, including the Governor. Maybe UFT can reach out to all such teachers to share their stories of what is was like, and why they left.

I agree. We should be arranging for such teachers to head up to Albany so that legislators can hear their testimony.
