Excellent piece. After so many years of neglecting paras, the Unity Leadership wouldn't have sprung into action had it not been for the brave FixParaPay and important exposés authored here. Hopefully paras will get some relief real soon -but one thing comes through: Mulgrew's "efforts" seem to always involve hiding, dividing and weakening the labor movement.
I am having a hard time understanding why this problem even exists the fact that Mulgrew hold so much power over all of this and Menin she is not that trustworthy not to mention our smiling Mayor. what a Shane
Thanks for exposing the respect check’s ugly side - I didn’t know it was a one-off payment. I wanted to ask in good faith if you could consider not using AI generated infographics in your publication, it’s a missed opportunity for a designer to be paid and promote their work.
That photo of Mulgrew and Menin is creepy, with his hand on the back of her neck.

Bottom line, I agree that any monies in the pockets of paraprofessionals is well well deserved.
