Excuse me, but Betsy DeVos ran the federal dept of education, and people in the education community complained to high heaven about her. This article is extremely short sighted. An educator being a woman would change absolutely nothing about a school district or school. Either they are talented and inspire people or they don't. I have worked for many admin, some were good and some were terrible. Their biological makeup had nearly nothing to do with any of that.

Heck, I was just googling NYC superintendents for fun and come to learn the superintendent for Queens schools is one of the WORST principals I ever had in my career. It just so happens they are a woman, but like I said before, that has nothing to do with their leadership, they were just a terrible leader.

I Completely disagree, mostly everyone I know that was discontinued was done so by a female principal, And most women make decisions based on feelings not on merit unfortunately. We need more men that aren't to left leaning that are responsible and fair as principals and higher administration.
