To my knowledge, Mulgrew has never explained why in the 2018 MLC agreement he and the MLC committed to 600 million dollars in health care savings forever. Could the DA put that question to him in writing and demand a written response.
Mulgrew is also at war with his UFT retirees who do not want a Medicare Advantage Plan,
they want Medicare and GHI Senior Care.
If he believes that is not accurate, why not give them a choice. The choice he gave was not pay for Medicare Advantage but pay the full cost of GHI Senior Care and prior to the court injunction thousands of UFT retirees opted to pay to keep their Medicare and GHI Senior Care.
As was said to Senator Joseph McCarthy at the Army/McCarthy hearing: “Have you no sense of decency; have you no shame.”

Just replace Mulgrew for McCarthy.
