Maybe if CityMD wasn't owned by a hedge fund they would have negotiated their fees. What they charge is exorbitant. Why a hedge fund operates a healthcare facility I don't know. They were supposed to negotiate their fees and didn't. Hedge Funds are about one thing, making money. We all need to have primary care physicians that we visit regularly.
The only action that will bring results is a strike! Anything else is a waste of time and futile.
Maybe the UFT doesn’t really represent teachers both current and retired anymore. I don’t think it does. I think the leadership sold us all out.
