A new day for our union begins. The United For Change coalition launches its campaign for a better union and better schools. Vote for positive change in the city-wide 2022 UFT elections.

Hello, New York City public school family!

A coalition of some of the major UFT caucuses and groups, along with growing numbers of individual UFT members, has officially launched as THE ANSWER to the Unity caucus controlled union leadership that has become increasingly disconnected, disengaged, and often times, apathetic, with the everyday lives and conditions of educators, support staff, and our school communities. 

We are UNITED FOR CHANGE.

We're tired of business as usual.  Tired of the games, run around, and disrespect.  Tired of being taken for granted and unheard.

Tired of the establishment politics and nepotism.

Our children, school communities, and union family DESERVE BETTER!  Together, with you, we will transform and re-energize our union, now.
