Help us push the legislature to lower class size!

There is a push by the State Legislature to require class size reduction as a condition for extending Mayoral control.  NY State Sen. John Liu, the powerful chair of the NYC Senate Education Committee, was quoted as saying he supports this, and we’ve heard similar things from Assemblymembers.

But we need your help! Please call your Assemblymember and Senator today!  Tell them that you need them to push for smaller class caps as part of the Mayoral control package of reforms, along the lines of S. 6296/A.7447, with strong accountability attached. There is only a week before the legislative session ends on June 2!

Thanks
